Farewell Grand Canyon

A beautiful morning to wake up by the Grand Canyon. Bathed and breakfasted and thinking about the next leg of our adventure- Sedona, Arizona, a long but scenic drive away. Of course the camera was still clicking away...

Of course at some point we had to pack and put our luggage in the car. This was a Jaguar S Type rented from Hertz in Las Vegas.

We used the camera's self-timer which is how "selfies" were accomplished back then.

So many colors represented and they change according to the light and shadow.

A glimpse of the Colorado river far below, responsible for the Canyon

ONE LAST LOOK

It's a unique destination in the World. Photos help, but they are no substitute for being there in person.
Stay overnight if you can.

On we drove-to a very special place called Sedona....but you've had enough rocks and landscapes to look at for now so next up will be a visit to Berlin.....
