Genoa

Back on board the ship less than an hour before she sailed, having been gone for a total of 11 hours.
No more looking through a bus window.

The ship wasn't moving and neither was Genoa so I could take some better photographs.

On the giant 30 foot movie screen, Pink, one of my favorite singers was appearing, a recording of a live show.

With Pink as my background music I continued taking photos of this great harbor, while it wasn't drizzling rain.

Passengers enjoy the hot tubs

Looks like everyone gets a sea view in Genoa!

One last look. The ship blew it's horn and moved slowly away from the dock.

After five minutes we were passing the Costa Concordia again. She was being dismantled. Her Captain is serving a 16 year jail sentence.

Next to the Concordia is the Saipem 10000, an oil drilling ship that can drill in water 10,000 feet deep.

The harbor Pilot is on board

The helicopter landing pad on the Saipem

Now I have a view of the Concordia again

The residents of Genoa see the Concordia shrinking before their eyes one day at a time

Here's a video clip from the sail away...
