So today we decided to visit Muir Woods. Like Pt. Reyes it involves driving across the Golden Gate Bridge to get North of the city. There's a Scenic Overlook on both sides, the grander of the two being on the South side shortly after the toll plazas.
Looks like a nice day for a drive.
We are leaving the city behind-nothing personal!
It's a popular spot.
Many people walk across the bridge or ride bicycles. Not us.
Looking back to the Toll Plaza. You pay on the way into the city.
We'll be making a lunch stop in Tiburon before heading into the woods. There's a cafe there on the water we want to try.

ReplyDeleteFrank, thanks for the compliments and for reading my blog. I am fond of Muir Woods and in fact the whole Bay area. We go to San Francisco every July for the past three years for a July 4 fireworks cruise and take coastal drives. We have a long history of visiting San Francisco over the past 20 years and always find something new to enjoy. Cheers!
