As always, really good coffee. The prices are for double espressos for each of us.
Back to the tour and onwards to Ponte Vecchio after meeting our tour group
We were disappointed to find that the shops on the ancient bridge were jewelry stores. I was expecting food stores-vegetables, cheeses, wines etc and maybe a cafe or two.
The bridge was of course crowded and looking behind me more people were coming
The view makes it worthwhile
The Uffizi Gallery is at center left in this shot
Next would come a long walk through the busy streets to the restaurant that would serve us lunch. With this many people we were glad that Princess had arranged a place that could accommodate us all at once and get us on our way again in a reasonable amount of time as we still had a visit to the Uffizi to fit into our schedule.
It's not hard to find beautiful buildings as you walk through Florence...
At last in a quiet street we come to the restaurant that is expecting us
Our guide, with the mass of red hair, leads us in to lunch
